The Richards Trauma ProcessTM (TRTP)
TRTP is an elegantly simple, yet comprehensive, step by step dynamic process that resolves anxiety, depression, PTSD and other trauma-related issues. Which has been devised by Judith Richards who is the creator of The Richards Trauma ProcessTM.
It is a dynamic, rich and a sequenced series of steps, which, if separated would not be anywhere near as powerful. It is unique in its formation, though includes components from a range of therapeutic interventions including Positive Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing, Parts work and allows space for your individual needs to be met.

Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR)
The mind can heal itself naturally, just like the body can. Much of this natural coping mechanism occurs during sleep, particularly during the rapid eye movement (REM) sleep phase. However when there are times of high emotional stress the memories attached to these times are not effectively stored or processed, so can “free float” and “pop up when triggered”. An approach developed by Francine Shapiro in 1987 EMDR utilises the bodies natural coping process, by replicating rapid eye movement while awake, in order to treat Post traumatic stress (PTSD) and a range of mental health problems.
Emotional Freedom Techniques “Tapping” (EFT)
Simply stated it is an emotional version of acupuncture without the needles. This is
achieved by stimulating acupuncture points on your body by tapping on them with your fingertips. The process has roots in Traditional Chinese medicine, Applied Kinesiology, Thought Field Therapy then simplified to EFT by Gary Craig into a process anyone can use.
Tapping is an easy to learn technique that can be very helpful in reducing limiting beliefs, improve sleep, reduce cravings, ease both emotional and physical pain. It involves focussing your attention on a problem that creates uncomfortable feelings and then tapping on specific pressure points to assist in managing and altering that feeling, initially on the negative aspect then transitioning to the positive.
